Actors Who Could Be The Same Person

Have you ever watched someone in a show only to change the channel and see…the same character played by someone else, in a different show?
Lindsay Price – Eastwick (Joanna Frankel)
A normal person lives in a small town and works as a Reporter. She doesn’t know she has become a witch but becomes aware of her powers. She then befriends two witches and someone who may or may not be the devil.
Kristin Kreuk – Smallville (Lana Lang)
A normal person, who lives in a small town and falls in love with a Superhero who becomes a Reporter. She then becomes aware she is the descendant of a French witch who possesses her. She married someone who is like the devil.
Are they the same? Sexy witches flirting with evil characters – definitely the same character. Except Lana Lang is sort of like the high-end, old-money witch, and Joanna Frankel still has her training wheels on.
Matthew McConaughey – Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (Connor Mead)
An eternal bachelor who plays a lot of mind games with the chicks he dates. He is visited by ghosts who teach him a lesson about his philandering ways, and make him see that love is actually a good thing.
Simon Baker – The Mentalist (Patrick Jane)
A former hustler as a psychic turned loose cannon/police consultant who plays mind games for a living, and has a knack for solving cases with what could be described as his super intuition.
Are they the same? They’re just sexy blondes who play mind games, with hair coiffed to appear like unruly waves, to match their unruly characters, and their inexplicable life experiences.
Natalie Portman – The Other Boleyn Girl (Anne Boleyn)
A woman pursues the King with her cheeky and bold comments, is raped by the King, then marries the King, but cannot produce a male heir and goes kind of nuts before her head is chopped off.
Kiera Knightly – The Dutchess (Georgiana Spencer)
She enjoys a loveless marriage to the Duke of Devonshire and cannot produce a male heir. She then challenges the Duke, is raped by the Duke, and acts kind of nuts at one point.
Are they the same? Totally the same. These are stunning rambunctious women with titles, in conservative eras, challenging the male authorities in their lives and paying for it. Friggin’ men.
Courtney Cox – Cougar Town (Jules Cobb)
A sexy and cooky divorced real estate agent trying her paw at dating young cubs. For a “cougar,” She’s not quite the man-eater, but she looks amazing in the frequently-worn lingerie she sports. She also flirts with the hot divorced neighbor and raises a teenage boy while making inapropriate and uncomfortable comments.
Nelly Furtado – CSI New York (Ava Brandt)
A sexy domestic abuse victim, who changes outfits to protect her self and converts to a life of thievery at high end stores. She is accused of murder and gets charged with larceny during one of her shop-lifting sprees. The song man-eater plays while she steals clothes.
Are they the same? They’re both gorgeous and look like they could be sisters. But seriously, if Jules started doing poorly in real estate, I could see her shop-lifting…or making an album.
Javier Bardem – Vicky Cristina Barcelona (Juan Antonio Gonzalo)
A sexy and successful Artist, who is in love with the idea of love. He also loves making love and talking about making love. He cannot break ties with his crazy / sexy ex wife who tried to kill him, despite the hot girls he dates, because he loves her in a dysfunctional way.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan – Grey’s Anatomy (Denny Duquette, Jr.)
A Wealthy man needs a heart transplant. He falls in love and becomes engaged to his crazy / hot doctor who tries to save his life after almost killing him. He later dies and then haunts her in the after-life because, well, he really loved her.
Are they the same? Minus the Spanish accent, they’re pretty much the same character, except Juan gets all the sex and Denny doesn’t. However, there’s a lot of love with quirky women who almost kill them, a lot of irrational behavior, and a lot of ties that bind.
